The fourth official warm-up match of the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup will be played between India and New Zealand at the Kennington Oval in London.

Despite having a good recent overall record, both India and New Zealand received wake up calls just before the World Cup. New Zealand looked almost invincible in their home series against Sri Lanka as they did not lose a single match, out of the two Test matches, three ODIs and one T20I. However, India humbled the Kiwis 4-1 thereafter.

India then got a taste of their own medicine as touring Australia beat them 3-2 in their last ODI series before the World Cup, and that too after trailing 0-2.

Till date India have faced New Zealand in 106 ODIs, with India winning 55 and New Zealand winning 45. In the last five matches, India have won two and lost three, while New Zealand have been able to win just one match of their last five.

A big setback for New Zealand has come in the form of an injury to the regular wicketkeeper Tom Latham, who has been ruled out of both the warm-up matches. Uncapped wicketkeeper Tom Blundell will take his place.

The team is likely to go with the opening combination of Martin Guptill and Henry Nicholls, with Kane Williamson and Ross Taylor following. The combination of Williamson and Taylor is a formidable one and the performance of these two will have a big say in the result of the match.

Let's have a look at the predicted playing XI of both teams.

India- Virat Kohli (c), MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Kedar Jadhav, Mohammed Shami, Yuzvendra Chahal, Vijay Shankar, Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya

New Zealand- Kane Williamson (c), Ross Taylor, Tim Southee, Martin Guptill, Trent Boult, Ish Sodhi, James Neesham, Mitchell Santner, Lockie Ferguson, Henry Nicholls, Tom Blundell
