Nepal won the toss and decided to field against Oman at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground, Kirtipur today.

Oman scored 197 – 9 with Mohammad Nadeem 69 and Sandeep Goud 33 top scoring and Khatri-Chhetri 4-47 and Bhari 3-14 the stars with the ball for Nepal.

In reply, Nepal fell an agonisingly 18 runs short in the run chase scoring 179 with Sharad Vesawkar 55 and Dipendra Singh Airee 36 th etop run getters and Zeeshan Maqsood 3-33, Kaleemullah 2-22 and Bilal Khan 2-36 th emain wicket takers for Oman.
