The United Arab Emirates are attempting to secure a place in the ICC World Cup for the third time as they take the field in Qualifiers in Zimbabwe.

Having previously played in the Qualifiers in 1994 and 2014, UAE will be hoping to make an impact this time around and they made it to the tournament after beating Nepal in the final of the ICC World Cricket League Division Two. UAE can take some confidence from the way they chased 300 against Scotland in Dubai but suffered defeats in both their warm-up games against Nepal and West Indies in Kwekwe and Harare respectively.

Group: They will have to deal with West Indies, Ireland, Netherlands and Papua New Guinea in Group A.
