Imran Khan ruled out of third Test against England

Pakistan will miss the services of Imran Khan for the final Test against England in Sharjah due to an injury to his bowling hand.

Khan sustained the injury during the training as he attempted to catch a ball and was immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment.

Confirming the news Pakistan team manager Intikhab Alam said that Khan will need atleast 10 days to recover.

"Khan hurt his bowling hand and a finger so he was sent to hospital, where he got four stitches and he will take 10 days to recover," team manager Intikhab Alam told AFP. 

In the two Tests matches against England in the series, Khan has picked six wickets at an average of 24.66.

Pakistan will also have the option of bringing in Rahat Ali or Junaid Khan as a replacement for Khan.

Asif, who was also cleared of a suspect bowling action by the International Cricket Council recently, will also be a possible replacement in case Pakistan opt for three spinners.
