India A (267-5) beat England A (264-9) by 5 wickets in the Final of the tri-series through notable efforts from Rishabh Pant (64*) and Deepak Chahar (10-58-3).

India A won the toss and put the Lions to bat first. Deepak Chahar, who has recently been called up in the Indian T20I squad against England, celebrated his selection with the wicket of Tom Kohler-cadmore (5). Talented batsman Nick Gubbins (12) departed soon as well.

Sam Hain (108) and Livingstone (83) then stitched a long partnership yet again to stabilize things. However, they did not receive any support from the lower order as the team could only manage 264 for 9 in the 50 overs.

Deepak Chahar (10-58-3), Shardul Thakur (10-42-2) and Khaleel Ahmed (10-48-3) bowled well for India.

Chasing the target, India A received couple of jolts when Prithvi Shaw (15) and Shubman Gill (20) were dismissed relative early. Rishabh Pant (64*) and Krunal Pandya (34*) then forged an unbeaten partnership to take the team home comfortably.

Liam Dawson impressed yet again with economical figures of 9-37-2. Fisher and Mullaney also took a wicket each.

With this victory, India A won the tri-series and brought an end to the limited overs leg of their England tour. The team will next play a two Test unofficial series against Windies A, starting from the 4th of July at the Kent County Cricket ground.
