India hit back strongly against New Zealand in 2nd T20I to go 1-1 in the series today at Eden Park, Auckland. New Zealand won the toss and decided to bat, scoring a par score of 158-8 in their 20 overs.

India 162-3 (Rohit Sharma 50, Rishabh Pant 40*, Shikhar Dhawan 30)
Result – India won by 7 wickets
Colin de Grandhomme top scored for the Blackcaps with 50, supported by Ross Taylor 42 - ; Krunal Pandya 3-28 and Khaleel Ahmed 2-27 were the pick of the bowlers for India.
In reply, India stormed to a 7 wicket win with more than an over to spare - Rohit Sharma 50, Rishabh Pant 40*and Shikhar Dhawan 30 all contributing to their success.
The final deciding T20I between these two sides will be played on Sunday at Hamilton.
