Second One-Day International, Bangalore

India Women levelled their three-match One-Day International series against South Africa Women with a six-wicket win in the second game in Bangalore.

Shikha Pandey hit 59, Poonam Raut 47 and Harmanpreet Kaur an unbeaten 42 as they closed on 187 for four in reply to South Africa's 186 for eight.

Chloe Tryon had earlier top scored with 49 not out in South Africa's innings.

This win is India's first in the ICC Women's Championship after they failed to pick up a win duiring the first round in England and lost the opening match to South Africa by two wickets.

Pandey's half-century followed up a haul of three for 19 while Ekta Bisht took three for 28.

Marizanne Kapp, Dane van Niekerk Sunette Loubser and Lizelle Lee all took a wicket for South Africa but the 90-run stand between Pandey and Kaur that took India from 72 for three to 162 for four proved pivotal.

VR Vanitha made an unbeaten 11 to help Pandey finish off the game and set up a decider on Friday (28th November).
