India, New Zealand prepare for ICC WT20 2016 opener - Cricket World TV

Chetan Narula reports from Nagpur where India and New Zealand are deep into their preparations for the opening game of the ICC World Twenty20 2016, previewing the match and Group 2 of the competition.

In the first of a series of video reports he will be sending back throughout the tournament, he assesses which of the teams are best placed to start with a win in a difficult group.

Both teams - 2007 champions India and 2015 50-over World Cup runners-up New Zealand - also face Australia, Bangladesh and Pakistan in what is being termed the 'group of death'.

Chetan also considers the chances of those other three teams with Australia being favoured by many - including ex-England man Graeme Swann - to make a strong run.

Pakistan do not come into the tournament in great form, having being beaten in the recent Asia Cup by Bangladesh, who eased through qualifying in a group containing Ireland, Netherlands and Oman.

But, as Chetan concludes, there are no easy games in Twenty20, and certainly none at the ICC World T20.

Who do you think will qualify?
