Australia chased down the paltry target of 76 on the third day of the third Test to pull one back in the four-Test Border-Gavaskar Trophy at the Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore on Friday.

The fourth and final Test starts in Ahmedabad on 9 November.

Set to chase a target of 76 after India had been bowled out for 163 at stumps on the second day, Australia managed to get to their win without much drama.

Australia did lose opener Usman Khawaja off the second delivery of their innings to Ravichandran Ashwin. But after that there was some drama, but no twist in the tale as Australia's Travis Head and Marnus Labuschagne added runs quickly. In the end Australia chased down the target in just 18.5 overs. Nathan Lyon was named player of the match for his match haul of 11-99.
