India v SL 2nd Test Day 3: India registers massive win to claim series 2-0

India registered a massive 238 run win over Sri Lanka in the second and final Test to claim the two-match series 2-0.

On the third day of the Test at the M Chinnasamy Stadium in Bengaluru, Sri Lanka resumed at their overnight 28 for one, but were bowled out for 208.

The only saving grace for Sri Lanka was captain Dimuth Karunaratne who struck a masterful 107 off 174 balls with 15 boundaries. Karunaratne shared a 97 run stand for the second wicket with Kusal Mendis.

Mendis was the second wicket to fall for 54 off 60 balls with eight boundaries. At tea, Sri Lanka was at 161 for four.

But post tea, Sri Lanka's final six wickets fell without a fight. Karunaratne finally fell for 107 and the end was nigh.

For India the chief wicket-takers were Ravichandran Ashwin (4-55) and Jasprit Bumrah (3-23).

Sri Lanka were finally shot out for 208 in 59.3 overs.

Shreyas Iyer was named Player of the Match, while Rishabh Pant was named Player of the series. This was India's 15th straight series win at home.
