Twenty professional cricketers from across the globe have pledged their support to up-and-coming British timepiece start-up Hagley West.

Players including JP Duminy and Carols Brathwaite have partnered with the brand, which is co-owned by West Indies legend Chris Gayle, to help take its exceptional design and effortless style to the global marketplace.

Renowned to be the fastest-ever fully-funded quartz fashion watch business, Hagley West recently broke records by crowdfunding more than £360,000 via online platform Crowdcube – the highest ever total for a watch business. The company hopes its strong links and popularity within the cricketing community will help to support ambitious international growth plans.

Tim Hayden, CEO of Hagley West Watches, commented: “When we founded Hagley West, our ambition was simple – to provide discerning customers worldwide with high-quality, eye-catching British timepieces without the unnecessary, over-inflated ‘big brand’ mark-up.

“Our range blends style, functionality and practicality, providing the perfect model for almost every occasion. Twenty first-class domestic and international cricketers have already pledged their support to the business, which continues to go from strength to strength. Our latest funding round will prove instrumental in supporting continued growth – both in the UK and internationally.”

Over the coming months, Hagley West aims to support grassroots cricket thorough a number of fundraising initiatives. By doing so, the company aims to not only give something back to the sport, but also inspire the talented players of tomorrow.

The Hagley West range is available to order online at www.hagleywest.com. For more information, visit the website or follow the company on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.
