IPL 2020 Match 40 Preview: RR vs SRH - After Williamson's injury, Nabi likely to feature for Hyderabad in must-win match
With Williamson injured and Nabi probably coming back into the team, can SRH turn it around in their must win IPL match against Rajasthan Royals?
With consecutive defeats in their last three matches, SRH have dropped to second-last place in the points table with only six points from nine matches.
Here's the probable playing XI of both teams:
Rajasthan Royals (RR): Ben Stokes, Robin Uthappa, Steven Smith(c), Sanju Samson (wk), Jos Buttler, Riyan Parag, Rahul Tewatia, Jofra Archer, Shreyas Gopal, Ankit Rajpoot, Kartik Tyagi
Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH): David Warner(c), Jonny Bairstow(wk), Manish Pandey, Priyam Garg, Vijay Shankar, Mohammad Nabi, Rashid Khan, Shahbaz Nadeem, Sandeep Sharma, Khaleel Ahmed, T Natarajan
Rajasthan Royals registered a 7-wicket comprehensive win against Chennai Super Kings in their last match. Jofra Archer was brilliant with the ball and Shreyas Gopal with Rahul Tewatia tremendous in support. Steve Smith's captaincy in dropping Jos Buttler to bat at number five worked, as he hit an unbeaten 70 (48).
On the other hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad have let valuable points slip away losing against Kolkata Knight Riders but let it slip away. Their bowlers did a good job with Vijay Shankar and Rashid Khan standing out but Williamson is injured.
Rajasthan Royals have the edge and the form going into this one – plus, Ben Stokes is due to have a big performance for RR.
