Pre-Tournament contenders that haven’t quite fired as yet are –

Sunrisers Hyderabad’s Harry Brook, who was bought by Sunrisers at a very fat pay cheque. He has only managed 29 runs, in 3 innings, and came into his first IPL on the back of some great form, in his short career, both in red and white ball cricket.

Prithvi Shaw, of Delhi Capitals, his swashbuckling style as a batter, with a don’t hold back attitude, has let him down so far in the tournament.

Suryakumar Yadav, of Mumbai Indians, his form has crashed for someone holding an average of 46.52 and strike rate of 175.76 in T20I cricket. He has scored 2 hundreds in T20I cricket as well.
