Ireland Name Squad For Dubai ODIs

Ireland have named a 15-man squad for a series of One-Day Internationals against Afghanistan and Scotland in January that will help them further prepare for the Cricket World Cup 2015.

Ireland will play Afghanistan twice and Scotland twice during their tour of Dubai between 4th and 19th January.

They are placed in Pool B of the World Cup and will take on the West Indies, Unuted Arab Emirates, South Africa, Zimbabwe, India and Pakistan.

This squad includes four players - Kevin O'Brien, Niall O'Brien, John Mooney and William Porterfield - who played in Ireland's 2007 and 2011 World Cup campaigns.

And nine of the squad who played in Ireland's defeat of England at the 2011 event also feature.
