
Ireland Women Tour of Scotland 2022- Squads, Fixtures and All you need to know
Cricket Scotland is geared up to host Ireland Women to play 3 WT20I matches starting from the 5th of September 2022. The final match will be played on the 8th of September. The series will serve as a preparatory ground for both the teams as after the series finishes, they are due to leave for UAE to participate in the Women's T20 World Cup Qualifier in September.
FIXTURES AND RESULTS
All of the matches will be played at The Grange Cricket Club, Edinburgh.
Scotland Women and Ireland Women haven't faced each other since their previous meeting at the ICC Women's T20 World Cup Europe Region Qualifier in Spain in 2021.
Ireland Women have had a good game time in the recent times. They have played in a home tournament against Australia and Pakistan and a 2 match one day series against Netherlands Women which they won by 2-0.
Scotland Women on the other hand featured last in the Women's T20 Commonwealth Games Qualifiers in January. They won 2 out of their 4 matches in the tournament.
