Ishant Sharma Replaces Injured Mohit Sharma

Indian fast bowler Mohit Sharma has been ruled out of the remainder of the One-Day International series against the West Indies due to injury and has been replaced in the squad by Ishant Sharma.

Mohit, who did not take a wicket in nine overs of the first match in the series, which the West Indies won by 124 runs, has aggravated a shin injury.

Ishant, who has played 58 Tests, 72 ODIs and 14 Twenty20 Internationals, comes into the squad ahead of the final four matches in the series.

He last played an ODI in January during India's tour of New Zealand.

After a heavy defeat in Kochi, India next meet the West Indies at the Feroz Shah Kotla on Sunday (11th October).
