Jimmy Neesham extends stay with Welsh Fire
Having recently joined up with the Welsh Fire men’s squad following South Africa’s international tours to the West Indies and Ireland, Lungi Ngidi will return home this week for personal reasons and will miss The Hundred.
New Zealand all-rounder Jimmy Neesham, who has made an impact with both bat and ball, will extend his stay with Welsh Fire for the remainder of the competition.
Liam Plunkett has been ruled out through injury and will play no further part with Kent seamer Matt Milnes joining as a replacement. Northamptonshire spinner Graeme White will replace Jonny Bairstow whilst he is on England duty. Both Milnes and White will be available for Welsh Fire’s match against Oval Invincibles at the Kia Oval tonight.
