England batted themselves back into this Test match today, with a fine century from Joe Root (his 15th Test Century) and a maiden half century from Rory Burns 59. Ben Foakes is not out 51, at the close of play, with England leading by 278 runs. Akila Dananjaya 6-106 was oustanding with the ball for Sri Lanka.
