Joel Paris replaces Kane Richardson for final ODI against New Zealand
Cricket Australia on Sunday confirmed that Richardson hasn't recovered enough from the back pain for the final game and will return to Australia for further analysis.
Paris on the other hand, made his debut during the ODI series against India and managed to pick just one-wicket in the two games he played.
However, in his recent appearance at the Sheffield Shield tournament, he picked a four-wicket haul for Western Australia in their encounter against the New South Wales.
The series is poised evenly at 1-1 after Australia went on to defeat New Zealand in the second game by four wickets.
The third ODI which is scheduled to be played on Monday will also be Brendon McCullum's final appearance in this format as he had earlier announced his retirement from the game at the end of the Test series against Australia.
