Australia have confirmed three changes for the second Test against India, which begins in Brisbane tomorrow (17th December) with pace bowler Josh Hazlewood set for his debut.

Fellow quick bowler Mitchell Starc makes a return to the side while Shaun Marsh replaces injured batsman and captain Michael Clarke.

Hazlewood and Starc replace Ryan Harris, who has an injury, and Peter Siddle, who has been dropped.

Coach Darren Lehmann confirmed that Harris has a minor thigh strain and hopes to be fit for the Boxing Day Test in Melbourne.

Steve Smith will captain the side and Brad Haddin will be vice-captain.

Shaun joins brother Mitchell in the line-up and the pair become the first brothers to play Test cricket for Australia since the Mark and Steve Waugh.

Australia lead the four-match series 1-0 after a 48-run win at Adelaide.

Australia team to play India: Chris Rogers, David Warner, Shane Watson, Steve Smith (captain), Shaun Marsh, Mitchell Marsh, Brad Haddin (wicket-keeper), Mitchell Johnson, Mitchell Starc, Nathan Lyon, Josh Hazlewood
