JP Duminy heads back home after his Test axing
South Africa batsman JP Duminy will be heading back home ahead of the third Test against England at Kennington Oval after he was overlooked in the ongoing Test series.
The 33-year-old managed scores of 15 and 2 in the first Test at Lord's which South Africa went on to lose by 211 runs and was subsequently dropped for the second game at Trent Bridge.
Duminy has overall featured in 46 Tests and has scored 2103 runs at an average close to 33 and has snared 42 wickets as well.
Meanwhile, uncapped Titans batsman Aiden Markram will continue to remain with the squad as a batting cover.
The four-match Test series is currently levelled at 1-1 after South Africa managed to bounce back from their defeat at Lord's with a 340 run win in the second game at Trent Bridge.
