Kagiso Rabada rises to pole position in ICC Rankings
South Africa speedster Kagiso Rabada will head into the ICC Champions Trophy as the number one ranked bowler following his performance in the third One-Day International against England at Lord's.
Rabada bowled one of the best opening spell that reduced England to 20 for six as he ended up with figures of 39 for four. He climbed four positions leapfrogging Imran Tahir, Mitchell Starc and Trent Boult to claim the pole position.
Meanwhile New Zealand fast bowler Boult has been edged by Australia seamer Josh Hazlewood, who now is at the fifth place.
Despite, their victory at Lord's, South Africa went on to lose the series 2-1 which meant the gap between them and the second placed Australia is down to four points and are followed by India and New Zealand.
It has been all South Africa domination in the rankings as their skipper AB de Villiers continue to top the rankings for the batsmen while Quinton de Kock has climbed two places to fourth.
England skipper Eoin Morgan's performance in three match series has seem him rise five spots to 17th while Liam Plunkett broke into the top 20 as well and is positioned 16th in the rankings for bowlers.
