CRICKET SOUTH AFRICA (CSA) is pleased to announce that our partners, Kemach Equipment, have delivered on their promise they made three years ago to deliver over twenty Roller machines to all of our identified areas around the country in an effort to assist in maintaining our cricket facilities.

Over and above the donation of the machines, Kemach will also be maintaining these machines for another 3 years after delivery.

Kemach Equipment, the South African dealer for JCB machinery, used for earth-moving purposes, has continued to play an integral role in providing resources to maintain and upkeep facilities for CSA’s Hubs and Regional Performance Centres. The supplier deal has seen Kemach Equipment providing Tandem Drum and Walk Behind rollers and training for groundsman across all designated Hubs and RPC’s.

In addition to the equipment itself, Kemach Equipment has distributed the full range of parts, while skilled field service technicians and expert product support engineers have ensured that assistance is available at all times on a 24/7 basis.

“The support we have received from our partners, Kemach Equipment, has been a huge boost for our development structures and more importantly community hubs around South Africa,” says CSA Acting CEO Jacques Faul. “Their involvement with us at grassroot level has been astounding and it is because of such companies involving themselves at mass level that we are able to contribute towards the success of South African cricket and particularly in underprivileged areas where the need is the greatest.”

Les Lothian, Kemach Equipment CEO, commented: “Our objective, when getting involved with CSA, was to assist in the development of the game by giving the opportunity to all those involved in the community hubs and disadvantages areas to play on adequately prepared surfaces. This would improve their bat and ball skills and be conducive to developing talent in these areas. We are very proud to say that this has been well received and a huge success, and has allowed us to further our efforts in providing equipment to regional, provincial and national structures, thereby contributing to the game of cricket across the entire South Africa.”

In addition, Kemach sponsored additional Rollers to some of our major cricket grounds, namely, Newlands, SuperSport Park, Imperial Wanderers and Hollywoodbets Kingsmead.
