Result - Kings XI Punjab won by 8 wickets
Batting first, Mumbai Indians scored a par score of 176 - 7 with Quinton de Kock 60, Rohit Sharma 32 and Hardik Pandya 31 the top scorers and Murugan Ashwin 2-25, Hardus Viljoen 2-40 and Mohammed Shami 2-42 , the main wicket takers for Kings XI Punjab, although Ravichandran Ashwin also bowled well, only going for a wicketless 26 off his 4 overs.
In reply, Kings XI Punjab blew away the Mumbai Indians bowlers hitting 177 - 2 off 18.4 overs - KL Rahul 71, Chris Gayle 40 and Mayank Agarwal 43 doing the damage with the bat and Krunal Pandya (2-43) the only wicket taker for Mumbai Indians.
