West Indies part-time spinner Kraigg Brathwaite has been reported for a suspect bowling action following the conclusion of the first Test against England at Edgbaston.

Brathwaite, who bowled a total of six overs in the only innings England had batted, conceded six runs without picking a wicket and was reported by on-field officials Marais Erasmus and S Ravi , third umpire Chris Gaffaney and match referee David Boon.

The 24-year-old will now have to undergo a test on his bowling action within 14 days but can continue to bowl in international cricket until the results are out.

Brathwaite has picked 12 wickets overall in the 38 Tests he had featured including a career best figures of 29 for six that came against Sri Lanka in Colombo in 2015.

After losing the opening game by an innings and 209 runs, West Indies will be desperately hoping to bounce back in the second Test that kicks-off at Headingley on 25th August.
