Kuldeep Yadav replaces injured Amit Mishra in Test against Bangladesh
India have called-up left-arm wristspinner Kuldeep Yadav as a replacement for leg-spinner Amit Mishra for the lonely Test against Bangladesh that kicks-off on Thursday in Hyderabad.
The 34-year-old Mishra had discomfort in knee which kept him out of Tuesday's training session. He sustained the injury during the final and third Twenty20 International against England in Bangalore.
Yadav, 22, was seen playing for India A in the tour game against Bangladesh where he picked three wickets in the game but registered a five-wicket haul against England in the List A game played in Mumbai last month.
He has played 22 first-class matches till now and has picked 81 wickets including three five-wicket hauls and five four-wicket hauls.
Yadav will be the fourth spinner in the squad which already has Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja and Jayant Yadav as India bid to continue their winning run at home where they haven't lost a Test match since 2012.
