Mumbai bowler Dhawal Kulkarni has earned a call-up to India's Test squad to tour New Zealand just six months after making his first-class debut.
Kulkarni took 42 wickets in the Ranji Trophy, more than any other player as Mumbai completed a 38th tournament win. Lakshmipathy Balaji was also recalled following a long spell out of the side with injury and a return to action in the fifth ODI against Sri Lanka eariler this month.
Munaf Patel and Harbhajan Singh return from injury to take their places in all three squads.
The tour, which comprises two Twenty20 Internationals, five ODIs and three Tests, begins on February 25th.
