Karachi Kings won the toss and decided to field against Lahore Qalandars  in the second PSL match of the day at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai.

In a rain affected and low scoring encounter, Lahore Qalandars came out on top, after a fantastic bowling performance by Haris Rauf 4-23 and Rahat Ali 3-19, in particular.

Batting first, Lahore Qalandars made 138 - 6 with Sohail Akhtar 39 , Anton Devcich 28 and Fakhar Zaman 26 top scoring and Sohail Khan 2-25, the pick of the bowlers from Karachi Kings.

In reply, Karachi Kings could only manage 116 all out, Mohammad Rizwan 34 and Babar Azam 28 the main run getters.

Rain affected play at one stage and there was some disturbing problems with the turf, on occasions, in the outfield.
