Result Lancashire won by 9 wickets
Lancashire won the toss and decided to field at Oakham School, Oakham and it proved to be a good decision as the Leicestershire batting line up never got going.
Spinner Matthew Parkinson 4-30 off 10 overs was outstanding for Lancashire, taking the wickets of Leicestershire danger men Mark Cosgrove (52) and Colin Ackerman (24) as well as Neil Dexter and Tom Wells in the middle order. Graham Onions (2-31) and Joe Mennie (2-35) both bowled well too, reducing Leicestershire to 172 all out.
In reply, Lancashire lost Alex Davies (23) early on and then a partnership of 133 between opener Haseeb Hameed (55* ) and Liam Livingstone (90*) took them to a 9 wicket win in record time, Livingstone hitting it to all parts with 6x4s and 7x6s.
