Lancashire won the toss and decided to field at Oakham School, Oakham and it proved to be a good decision as the Leicestershire batting line up never got going.

Graham Onions (2-31) and Joe Mennie (2-35) both bowled well too, reducing Leicestershire to 172 all out.

In reply, Lancashire lost Alex Davies  (23) early on and then a partnership of  133 between opener Haseeb Hameed (55* ) and Liam Livingstone (90*) took them to a 9 wicket win in record time, Livingstone hitting it to all parts with 6x4s and 7x6s.
