Lasith Malinga dropped for Pakistan ODIs
Sri Lanka selectors have left out experienced seam bowler Lasith Malinga in the 15-man squad for the upcoming One-Day International series against Pakistan.
Malinga, who resumed his international career from a knee injury during the Champions Trophy tournament earlier this year has struggled to find form, picking just 10 wickets from 13 ODIs.
Also missing out on the squad is former captain Angelo Mathews, who has not completely recovered from a calf injury that kept him out of the Test series against the same opposition.
Sri Lanka, who recently gained an automatic qualification to the 2019 World Cup despite whitewashed by India at home will seek change of fortunes in the five match ODI series that will be played between 13th and 23rd October.
