Liam Plunkett named as injured Kagiso Rabada's replacement by Delhi Daredevils
The number of injured players set to be a part of IPL 2018 has been increasing rapidly since the past couple of months. Delhi Daredevils pacer Kagiso Rabada is the latest entry in the long list of players who would unfortunately miss the entire tournament. Liam Plunkett has been roped in as Rabada’s replacement by DD.

Welcome to Dilli, Liam! ??#DilDilli #Dhadkega
Rabada, who had been the pick of the bowlers for South Africa in the recently concluded 4-match Test series against Australia, suffered a lower-stress back reaction which would not allow him to be in the thick of action for the next three months.
KG was expected to spearhead the DD pace attack and was retained by the Daredevils using the Right to Match card for 4.2 crore. However, things did not go as per plan which is why DD have now picked English pacer Liam Plunkett as his replacement.
Plunkett’sT20 record suggests that he is a decent bowler and has the potential to deliver for the team. Nicknamed Pudsy, Plunkett has featured in 119 T20s and has picked up 110 wickets at almost 25 apiece at an economy rate of under 8.
The 33-year old will soon land in Delhi and would be a part of the DD pace attack alongside Trent Boult, Mohammad Shami and Chris Morris among other quicks.
