Lilleshall CC have been playing and enjoying cricket for over 110 years.

Widely regarded as one of the most beautiful places in the county to play cricket, we run three Saturday league teams in the FBC Manby Bowdler Shropshire Cricket League.

The 1st XI ply their trade in Division 1, The 2nd XI compete in the Reserve Premier Division whilst the 3rd XI are in Division 5.

The club also possesses a thriving junior section, which ranges from U10s through to an U15 side.

Lilleshall CCThe U10s play on Sunday mornings followed by U15 side who play their fixtures on Sunday afternoons.

We have two teams in the Under 13 age group, The Comets and The Sharks. Both play on a Wednesday evening.

The Under 11s also play on a Wednesday evening, all in the East Shropshire Junior Cricket League.

Some fixtures are played at our reserve ground at Edgmond if two of the three teams are due to play at home. Edgmond is also the home of our senior 3rd XI.

Senior practice for 1st and 2nd XIs is on Thursday evening. Our 3rd XI and Under 15s train on Friday evenings.

Junior practice is on a Monday evening for the Under 10s, 11s and 13s.

Away from cricket

With a proactive committee, there are plans afoot for major redevelopment and update of the clubs pavilion in order to provide a facility the location truly deserves.

As the immediate village doesn't have a pub and with the club having a fully licensed bar the Club hosts a local 'Village Night' on the first Friday of each month where the local villagers are encouraged to come and take advantage of the Bar Facilities.
