Lindum’s Will Wright and Boston captain Jonny Cheer hit centuries in the Readers Lincs ECB Premier League, to help their teams to victory.  Lindum are now the only unbeaten team in the northern division after making the highest score of the day with 234 for four.

Skipper Rob Cook hit an unbeaten 51 as Lindum overcame near rivals Bracebridge Heath by 42 runs despite Martyn Dobson hitting 60 for the visitors.

Boston totalled 227 for six with Mihir Yousuff backing Cheer up with 50 then taking three catches as Sleaford were dismissed for 164, Martin Hodgson claiming four wickets.

In the closest game of the day, Jamie Brumby took four catches behind the stumps for Scunthorpe Town who scored a welcome victory over Louth.  Scunthorpe topped the 200 mark, making 202 for six but Louth ran them close, Richard Bell hitting 47 and the final wicket falling on 193 with just one ball of the match to go.

After last week’s thrilling victory over Bracebridge, Bourne had a bad day at home to Grantham who bowled them out for 129.  After losing two early wickets, Ross Carnelley with 60 and Dan Freeman (62no) saw Grantham to victory.

Matt Sargeant was unbeaten on 61 when Woodhall Spa claimed a five wicket win over Market Deeping who were restricted to 155 for seven off their 40 overs, Joe Malton top scoring with an unbeaten 47.
