Live Cricket Streaming June 21 – England v Sri Lanka, 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup
The live cricket streaming international cricket is England v Sri Lanka, 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup.
Sri Lanka are already huffing and puffing at the sixth place in the points table after one win, two losses and two abandoned matches with five points. They will face a major hurdle in the form of England who are placed at the second spot with four wins, one loss and eight points from five matches.
Sri Lanka would be at utterly disappointed with the way in which they were fared in their last match against Australia. Chasing a steep target of 335, the team got off to sensational opening stand and had lost no wicket till the 15th over, flying at 115 for no loss. But the problems in their middle order resurfaced as Angelo Mathews, Milinda Siriwardana and Thisara Perera were dismissed without troubling the scorers much.
Dimuth Karunaratne and Kusal Perera remain the leading batsmen for the side, both of whom have notched up two half-centuries each in the tournament. Karunaratne fell short of his century by just three runs against Australia. With the ball, Lasith Malinga and Nuwan Pradeep will lead their attack.
England will carry on with the new opening pair of James Vince and Jonny Bairstow, with Jason Roy being out with a hamstring injury. Eoin Morgan seems to have recovered well from his bad back and will take the field.
Mark Wood and Jofra Archer bowled consistently in excess of 145 kmph in the last game and both will continue to lead the English bowling. The interesting pick for the side will be between Moeen Ali and Liam Plunkett and given Sri Lanka's batting order, the team might decide in favour of the latter.
Let's have a look at the probable playing XI of both teams:
England- Jonny Bairstow, James Vince, Joe Root, Eoin Morgan (c), Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler (wk), Moeen Ali, Chris Woakes, Adil Rashid, Jofra Archer, Mark Wood
Sri Lanka- Dimuth Karunaratne (c), Kusal Perera (wk), Lahiru Thirimanne, Kusal Mendis, Angelo Mathews, Milinda Siriwardana/Suranga Lakmal, Thisara Perera, Dhananjaya de Silva, Isuru Udana, Lasith Malinga, Nuwan Pradeep
