Lots of good news coming out of County Champions Essex CCC at the moment - Essex CCC members, supporters and fans, will be delighted with the news that Official brewing partner, Greene King, have signed a two-year contract extension and live cricket streaming of home games via their website is set to continue for the 2018 season.

Greene King has been lucky enough to see two really successful years of association with Essex as they clinched back-to-back Championship titles. Essex Cricket commercial manager, Darrell Fox, commented: “Ever since Greene King became Official Brewing Partner in 2016, feedback from the membership and supporters has been extremely positive.

“Greene King has provided a high quality, broad selection of beers and we were delighted when they decided to extend their partnership with the Club.

“Hopefully this is just the beginning of a fruitful, long term partnership for both parties.”

Joe Parks, Greene King on trade sales director, said: “We are delighted to continue our partnership with Essex Cricket for a further two years.

“Our flagship ale and the official beer of England cricket, Greene King IPA, will continue be served at bars throughout the stadium.  And, as the start of the new cricket season is upon us, we wish Essex well for the 2018 campaign as they look to retain the County Championship Division One title.”

In addition to this good news, Essex fans will also be able to access live cricket streaming of home matches via their website – link - http://www.essex.ukcricket.tv/livestream  which will also carry live BBC audio commentary of the matches as well.

Essex are at home and due to play Lancashire, at Chelmsford, starting on April 20th, following the washout first match of the season against Yorkshire, at Headingley, over the last weekend. Both sides will be looking for a positive result from this match.
