The Lord's Taverners have signed a partnership with The Numbers Collection by James Anderson following which Anderson's label will become the official wine supplier to the charity.
England's all-time leading Test wicket-taker launched the label last year and now its wines will be enjoyed by members and guests at the many varied national fund-raising events held by the Lord's Taverners.
To clebrate the launch of the partnership, Anderson became a member of the Lord's Taverners, the charity that enhances lives of disadvantaged and disabled young people through sport and recreation.
Speaking before the Lord's Test against Sri Lanka, Anderson said: "I’m delighted that The Numbers Collection is to become an official partner of the Lord’s Taverners, helping to support their fantastic work.
"I’m also honoured to become a member of such as well-respected organisation that gives a sporting chance to disadvantaged and disabled young people across the UK."
The Numbers Collection relate to memorable milestones in Anderson's career. Reserve Blanc is number 11, referring to his usual batting position, the Reserve Rose is 54, the number of Test innings he went before being dismissed for a duck and the Reserve Rouge is 81, representing his Test highest score, made against India in 2014.
Paul Robin, Lord's Taverners CEO, added: "Hundreds of our members and guests enjoyed wine from The Numbers Collection at our recent President’s Lunch and we look forward to enjoying it at our future events.
"With our cricket heritage, the partnership with such a prestigious brand while also welcoming Jimmy Anderson as a Lord’s Taverners member, means this is a perfect fit."
