County Cricket News In Brief:
Rikki Clarke looks like he will end his county career with Warwickshire after signing a new four-year deal, which will see the 31 year-old remain at Edgbaston until the end of the 2017 season. Clarke was a key part of the Bears’ LV= County Championship winning side last season, with his performances helping him win a recall to England’s preliminary squad for the ICC Champions Trophy.

Shaun Marsh has turned down the offer of a Friends Life t20 contract with Northamptonshire according to the Northamptonshire Telegraph. Northants are keen to sign a second player for the competition to partner Cameron White, but Marsh reportedly rejected the offer on the advice of Cricket Australia.
