Matt Renshaw will return to Queensland this summer, ending a two-season stint with the Adelaide Strikers.

With the impending birth of Renshaw’s first child with wife Josie, the Strikers understand and support the decision to return north ahead of KFC BBL12.
Head Coach Jason Gillespie thanked Renshaw for his time with the Strikers and wished him luck moving forward.
“Renners was a great personality and cricketer to have in our team for two summers and we thank him for his time in Adelaide. Family always comes first and so he departs with our best wishes as he and Josie prepare to welcome an addition to their family.
“Having picked up Chris Lynn yesterday and heading into the inaugural Draft on Sunday, we are confident in the list we have assembled and can’t wait to get underway this season.”

Renshaw took the field as a Striker on 25 occasions, scoring 513 runs with a high score of 63 and strike-rate of 122.
