Skipper Matthew Wade lead by example, hitting 58 in 30 balls before Kane Richardson started to heat up dismissing Wade then D’Arcy Short on 28.
Ben McDermott (39*) and Simon Milenko (27) chipped in with the runs and Hobart Hurricanes managed a more than respectable 183-6.
Aaron Finch showed some fight scoring 35, but D’Arcy Short stepped up, catching Harris, before bowling Harper and Nabi.
Lower down the order Tom Cooper stepped up, smashing 44 but it wasn’t quite enough as Hobart Hurricanes won by 16 runs.
