Melbourne Renegades Beat Sydney Thunder by 12 Runs
Sydney Thunder won the toss and chose to bowl first against the Melbourne Renegades at the Spotless Stadium, Sydney today.
Sydney Thunder 140-5 (Callum Ferguson 52, Jason Sangha 54*)
Melbourne Renegades 152-9 (Aaron Finch 52, Cameron White 40)
Melbourne Renegades win by 12 runs
Batting first Renegades didn’t get off to the best start with Cameron Boyce being removed for a duck. Skipper Aaron Finch smashed 54 in response with Cameron White’s 40 the only other notable batting performance.
In similar fashion Thunder opened the same, Anton Devcich being dismissed for a duck before Callum Ferguson rallied scoring 52, with Jason Sangha adding 54*.
Despite their efforts it wasn’t enough to see Sydney Thunder over the line, as Melbourne Renegades won by 12 runs.
