Middlesex CCC launches new playing kits for the 2020 season and unveils two new shirt sponsors

Middlesex Cricket are today delighted to unveil three brand new playing strips for the 2020 cricket season.

The three new strips include a more traditional looking white County Championship shirt, a continuation of the now iconic pin Vitality Blast shirt with a fresh new design and blue sleeves, and a new look plain blue Royal London Cup shirt with pink sleeves and be trim. We were joined by Middlesex’s Toby Roland-Jones, Max Holden and Stephen Eskinazi at Lord’s recently for a photo-shoot to officially launch the kit.

Today, the club were also delighted to announce two new commercial partnerships, with Knight Frank and Perfect Smile, who join Principal Sponsor Brooks Macdonald in becoming one of Middlesex’s shirt sponsors.

Update on the Coronavirus pandemic from Middlesex CCC

Knight Frank, the UK’s leading independent real estate consultancy, have agreed to become a major sponsor of Middlesex Cricket.

Richard Goatley, Chief Executive of Middlesex Cricket, said: “We are delighted to welcome Knight Frank to the Middlesex family. As a company, they share our core values of respect, diversity and inclusion and we look forward to a long and successful partnership. Knight Frank will be supporting cricket at all levels in the county, with their company logo appearing on playing kit throughout the club, notably on the front of the T20 shirts worn by our senior Men’s T20, Academy, Youth and Disability squads. They are also supporting women’s cricket, with their logo appearing on the senior Women’s team playing and training kit.

“These are obviously extraordinary times and, like every organisation, we are primarily focussed on dealing with the impact of the COVID-19 outbreak and ensuring the welfare of our staff and players. However, as and when the 2020 cricket season starts, we very much look forward to working with Knight Frank.”

Alistair Elliott, Senior Partner and Group Chairman of Knight Frank, said: “We reached agreement to sponsor Middlesex Cricket earlier this year because we remain focused on supporting the communities in which we work. Obviously, our current priority is to ensure our staff and customers remain safe in the ongoing COVID-19 situation but, as and when the cricket season starts, we look forward to supporting the players, staff, members and supporters of this highly respected club.”

Middlesex Cricket is today delighted to announce that Perfect Smile, the UK based dental practice, have extended their sponsorship with the club and have become the men’s Royal London Cup shirt sponsors for the 2020 and 2021 seasons.

Perfect Smile have been one of Middlesex’s established sponsors for the past three years, having previously sponsored both the Women’s playing shirts and the men’s professional squad training shirts. Their new two-year sponsorship extension was disclosed earlier today when the club’s new playing shirts for the 2020 season were unveiled to the public.

From this season onwards, Middlesex’s Royal London Cup kit will prominently feature the Perfect Smile logo across the front of the shirts, whilst also featuring on the nape of neck of the club’s new Vitality Blast shirts and on the collars of Middlesex’s newly released County Championship shirts.

Perfect Smile’s sponsorship also sees them benefitting from international hospitality at Lord’s throughout the forthcoming summer, advertising hoardings at Lord’s, and invitations to a number of other sponsors’ hospitality events at the Home of Cricket across the coming year.

Speaking of Perfect Smile extending their sponsorship with the club, Middlesex Cricket’s Head of Commercial, Laura Angus, commented:

“We are thrilled that Perfect Smile have decided to become our Royal London Cup shirt sponsor for the next two years.

“Having been a longstanding sponsor of the club, it’s great that Chirag, Palvesh and the Perfect Smile team are continuing their association with Middlesex and that they have chosen to further commit to aligning their brand with the club.

This extension is a significant increase in their investment with Middlesex and our thanks go to them for their continued support in what are challenging times for the world of sport, given the uncertainties surrounding the current COVID-19 situation.

“We are really excited to be continuing to work with an established member of the Middlesex family and look forward to an enjoyable and successful two years ahead.”

Chirag Patel, Owner and Director of Perfect Smile, commented:

“Perfect Smile are delighted to sponsor Middlesex Cricket for a further 2 years.

“Our ongoing partnership allows us to deliver top-class dentistry to players and staff of the club and helps us communicate the importance of good oral hygiene throughout London, it's neighbouring counties and the rest of the UK.

“We take this opportunity to wish Middlesex a successful season ahead and together, we're certain to create happy smiles for all family members.”
