As expected, England have called up Eoin Morgan to replace Kevin Pietersen in their Cricket World Cup squad after Pietersen was ruled out of the remainder of the tournament due to a hernia problem.
Morgan joins up with the squad after he had originally been ruled out of the tournament with a fractured finger and been replaced by Ravi Bopara.
The International Cricket Committee (ICC) Technical Committee confirmed that they had approved the change in England's squad.
Morgan replacing Pietersen is the 14th replacement of the tournament.
Pietersen was originally due to play the rest of the competition and then return home but was unable to continue following England's six-run win over South Africa.
Irish-born Morgan, 24, has played 38 One-Day Internationals for England, scoring 1160 runs at an average of 40, including three centuries and five half-centuries.
This will be his second World Cup, having played for Ireland in 2007.
