Mustafizur Rahman returns to Bangladesh ODI squad for tri-series

Bangladesh have recalled fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman for the first two One-Day Internationals of the tri-series involving Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe.

The 22-year-old last played in an ODI in June 2017 but was sidelined with an ankle injury during the Test series in Bangladesh. He will take the place of Taskin Ahmed from the squad that played in the ODIs against South Africa.

Apart from Mustafizur, Anamul Haque, Mohammad Mithun, Abul Hasan and Sunzamul Islam have also made to the squad replacing Soumya Sarkar, Liton Das, Mominul Haque and Shafiul Islam respectively.

Mashrafe Mortaza will continue to lead the side while the recently sacked Test captain Mushfiqur Rahim also retains his place.

The tri-series will be played between 15th and 27th January at Shere Bangla Stadium in Mirpur.
