Afghanistan won by 25 runs

Young wicketkeeper-batsman Rahmanullah Gurbaz, who has been slotted to open for Afghanistan, could not repeat his feat of the last match and was dismissed for a golden duck by Saifuddin. Saifuddin then accounted for a couple more wickets as Afghanistan were left reeling at 40-4.

Asghar Afghan (40) and Mohammad Nabi (84, 54b, MoM) then came together to not only take Afghanistan out of trouble but post a healthy total of 164.
