Scotland scored a competitive 153-7 in their 20 overs with Calum MacLeod 53, George Munsey 32 and Craig Wallace 27 the top run getters and Fred Klaassen 2-38 and Timm van der Gugten 2-35 the main wicket takers for the Netherlands.
In reply, the Netherlands scampered home just, by 7 wickets, with one ball to spare - Tobias Visee 71 and Stephan Myburgh 24, the stars with the bat and Alasdair Evans 0-19 (off 4 overs) and Safyaan Sharif 1-28 were the top bowlers for Scotland.
