
Netherlands Tour of South Africa, 2023 - Squads, Fixtures and All you need to know
Netherlands are touring South Africa to participate in two ODI matches starting on the 31st of March. The second and the final ODI of the series will be played on the 2nd of April.
It is a crucial series for South Africa as they need to win both the matches for a direct qualification into the ICC Men's World Cup to be held in India in October.
South Africa have named a very strong squad for the ODI's against Netherlands, which means that their players won't be able to participate in the IPL until 3rd of April.
Temba Bavuma will have a fitness test to ascertain his participation in the 2 match series. According to South Africa's white ball coach Rob Walter, "We have named our strongest possible squad for these games given the importance of these matches in the context of qualifying for the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup."
Netherlands had beaten South Africa in a T20 World Cup match when the last time these two sides met.
