England Women dismissed New Zealand Women for just 60 runs before wrapping up an eight-wicket win in the first Twenty20 International in Whangerai.

Anya Shrubsole and Heather Knight took three wickets as New Zealand slumped to their lowest ever Twenty20 International score.

After they were bowled out in 19.4 overs, England raced home and into a 1-0 series lead in just 11.4 overs.

Captain Charlotte Edwards was unbeaten on 32.

The second game in the three-match series is on 20th February.
