As a consequence of the injury to Pat Cummins, Adam Milne has recently joined the Mumbai Indians squad as his replacement.

The news of Milne’s association with the Mumbai Indians comes soon after his compatriot Mitchell McClenaghan replaced another Aussie pacer Jason Behrendorff in the side.

Pat Cummins was recently ruled out of IPL 2018 due to a back injury which he had picked up during the recently concluded 4-match Test series against South Africa wherein he was the pick of the bowlers for the Aussies. The injury will keep the right-arm quick out of action for three months.

Milne has already landed in India and lately took part in a training session with the MI squad at the Wankhede Stadium. The tearaway pacer will join the likes of Jasprit Bumrah, Mustafizur Rahman, Mitchell McClenaghan and Pradeep Sangwan as part of Mumbai's pace battery.

Milne has featured in five IPL matches across 2016 and 2017 and possesses a decent T20 record. In the 70 T20s that Milne has played so far, he has picked up 83 wickets at economy rate of under 8 and is capable of clocking more than 150 kmph on the speed gun.
