New Zealand are touring Ireland to play 3 ODI cricket matches and 3 T20I cricket matches against the home side.

FIXTURES AND RESULTS

The tour will begin with a 3 match ODI series taking place in Dublin. The ODI matches will be played at The Village Malahide, Dublin.

The 3 match T20I series that will be followed by the ODI's will be hosted in Belfast. All the T20I fixtures are to be played at The Civil Service Cricket Club, Stormont, Belfast.

The First ODI between Ireland and New Zealand that will be played on the 10th of July 2022 will kick off the tour.

The Final T20I between Ireland and New Zealand will be played on the 22nd of July, 2022.

Ireland's Chair of Selectors, Andrew White has confirmed that the board is backing the in-form players who performed well against India in the recently concluded T20I series. He is hopeful that Ireland will give New Zealand a tough competition over the tour.

According to him, "The selectors will support the players who did well against India. The team met the standards we set for them, and we hope they can perform just as well against New Zealand".

The young players Stephen Doheny and Connor Olphert have retained their spot in the team after featuring in the T20I series against India.

Mitchell Santner, who was to captain the Kiwis in the T20I series is down with COVID-19 and has not flown along with the team to Dublin. Any decision on his availability will be taken once he recovers from COVID-19.

Both the teams have good strength in both the bowling and batting department. The New Zealand Tour of Ireland is definitely going to be competitive and a treat to watch.
