England won the toss and decided to batted first, hitting a total of 188 - 5 in their allotted 20 overs - James Vince 46 and Joe Denly 39* top scoring and Anurag Verma 3-46 the main wicket taker for the New Zealand XI.
In reply, the New Zealand XI chased down the urns required with nearly 2 overs to spare, scoring 191 – 2 with Anaru Kitchen 48* and Colin Munro 107* doing most of the damage with the bat.
England again bowled poorly with nearly all their bowlers going for 10+ runs an over and will have to rethink their attack going into the first T20I against New Zealand on November 1st in Christchurch.
